A LOT of you wanted us to have our next meet ‘n greet at Downtown Disney… so we decided to play there! Saturday, April 24th from 6PM-10PM, we’ll be playing and hanging out on stage in front of ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney. It’s free!

For the past two and a half years, we’ve been warming up for the big game (ok, sorry that was a bit cheesy… let me try that again… eh hem). For the past two and half years, we’ve been aiming our guns and we’re now ready to fire (um… maybe not that… let me try again, bear with me… eh hem). For the past two and a half years, we’ve been riding off a ripple created by a self-produced album we made in our dining room after being together for only three months. We are very proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish independently in such a short amount of time and owe it ALL to you guys! We are now ready for that next step, to get a brand new studio-recorded album out there and start riding a wave (yeah, I know, the whole ripple/wave thing was still really cheesy, but ya feel me, right?!?!).
We are grateful that we got more than 5 different songs on KROQ, MyFM, GoodDay LA, and other radio stations - all with songs we produced at our home. We got to open for artists like David Cook, Third Eye Blind, and yes, ‘Lil Kim! We got to tour the midwest and west coast, pack the House of Blues Anaheim three times, play the Bamboozle Left festival, and hold residencies at the Grove of LA and Disneyland. Over summer, we had the amazing opportunity to work at Capitol Records Studios and Paramount Studios with Andy Johns, producer of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Eric Clapton. We learned a lot, grew as a band, and most of all, had a lot of fun! And so, we are very excited to announce that in two weeks, we will record our brand new album to be released by summer.
Critically acclaimed music producer/song-writer Keith Everette Smith will be manning the ship alongside us as we hit up the studio in San Diego. We will be wrapping up our preproduction with him next week and can’t wait to lay down these tracks! As we have spent the last few months focusing solely on song-writing, our song library has expanded substantially. We now have enough songs to record multiple albums. Some songs we’ve been playing live lately that will be on this particular album include: “Chase the Stars”, “Lonely, Lonely, Lonely”, “Play the Music”, “Who You Really Are (Mountain Song)”, and others. We will keep you updated as we go through the process and will announce a release date in the near future.

Once purchased, your name will be put on a will call list. Arrive at the House of Blues (Anaheim, CA) on the day of the show, Jan. 17th, between 6:00 & 7:00PM to pick up your tickets.
The Bolts LIVE at NAMM Show after party @ the House of Blues (Anaheim, CA), sponsored by Fender Guitars & Marshall Amps- open to the public. No school the next day for most districts! However, given that some districts do have class the next day, the Bolts have asked the House of Blues that they play at 7:40PM so you can get home early. $10 advance tix only ordered through here, otherwise $15 + service fee at door.

Our new recordings with producer Andy Johns are now posted on our myspace! We feel fortunate to have worked thus far with Andy as he produced some of our favorite artists, including The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Eric Clapton. We are looking forward to finishing our full album in the near future. We hope you enjoy the recordings as much as we enjoyed recording them.
